Sephora Sale Recommendations

It’s my favvvvvorite time of year. Sephora sale time! If you’re a VIB or Rouge member then you get 20% off absolutely everything at Sephora, and if your an Insider you get 15% off! I wait to buy pretty much everything during this time. It’s tempting to buy the entire store, but I really try to resist.

Even though I regularly browse Sephora’s website, I know it can be really overwhelming to shop through, especially during the sale time. So, I’m rounding up my absolute top picks of favorites, wish list items, or just some things I think are worth checking out. Hope this helps, and happy sale shopping!

Sale Dates:
Rouge: 11/3 – 11/6 & 11/10 – 11/15
VIB/Insider: 11/10 – 11/15

Gift shopping? Great time to stock up for the upcoming holidays. Here’s my recommendations on Top 20 for $20 and Under at Sephora to get you started!

Boxom – Full-on Lip Polish

One of the few lip glosses I can tolerate. I am SO picky with glosses, but I do like these a lot. Katie is a go-to for me. Mostly sheer, just adds a little bit of color.

Nars – Lipstick
Love these lipsticks. Smell great. Fairly long lasting for being a regular lipstick. Great color selection, and super pigmented. What more could you want? They have the prettiest hot hot neon pink color, that somehow is wearable too, called Schiap – it’s what I’m wearing in my profile picture off to the right. Another good one is Dolce Vita. You really can’t go wrong with any shade though.

Nars – Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
Another solid lip product by Nars. I first purchase one of these because Taylor Swift said she used Dragon Girl, so obviously, I needed to also have it. It’s such a pretty bold red. Another great red is Cruella. Lots of pretty colors, and pretty long lasting.

Bite Beauty – Amuse Bouche Lipstick
My other favorite lipstick besides Nars. SO many good shades. I personally love Fig, Sake, and have a few of the seasonal shades they come out with every year. You can’t really go wrong with any shade.

Kat Von D – Everlasting Liquid Lipstick
The best liquid lip I’ve used. You only need a little bit, and it doesn’t look dry and clumpy on your lips at all. Lovesick is a classic, beautiful mauve shade.

Lancome – Artliner
One of my holy grail eyeliners. I find this to be one of the easiest liners to use, specifically getting really up in the lash line. Doesn’t dry out quickly at all, and stays very black. I have this in black and brown and love them both so much.

Too Faced – Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette
I recently did a big declutter of all my makeup, but this was one of the few palettes that I decided to keep. I will say that the pink and blue shade are pretty dry in my palette, but every other color is pigmented, smooth, and applies/blends great.

Benefit – Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara
Previously, the Benefit They’re Real Mascara was my all time fave, but once I tried the Roller Lash, it was quickly replaced. Really lifts and curls my lashes, and doesn’t flake at all. Plus, it’s easier to remove than the They’re Real Mascara as well.

Nars – Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
I’ve been using this primer for year and it continues to be my holy grail eyeshadow primer that. A little goes a long way too.

bareMinerals – Original Foundation
I usually go for a more natural look in terms of my foundation, and I really like using this just to even out my skin tone and cover up some of my redness. For me, this isn’t full coverage, but that works for me.

bareMinerals – BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer
Sometimes concealers can be too drying on my skin, but this one definitely isn’t. I use this mainly for covering up blemishes, and never looks cakey on my skin at all.

YSL – Lumiere Divine Highlighting Finishing Powder Palette
My favorite highlighter that is on the natural side. Also a great product to set your under eyes with and add a little brightness.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Powder Duo
My go-to for brows. Looks natural and lasts all day even though I don’t use a brow gel to set it. My favorite way to fill in my brows by far.

Sheet Masks
Great top to stock up or try out a bunch! I love this one and this one, personally.

Evian – Facial Spray
I wasn’t sure whether to put this in skincare or makeup, I’ve used it for both purposes, but more often as a skin care item. Just a great product to have on hand. I use this in between skin care steps, to set my makeup, to refresh my skin throughout the day, even hair touch ups. Love this stuff.

Belif – The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb
Really gentle and super moisturizing. Comes in two sizes, so you can get the smaller size if you just want to try it out. I use this typically as a nighttime moisturizer so it can sink in all night long. It can be on the heavy side, so if you have really oily skin, it might be too much for you, but they have a gel based one that would work great!

Murad – Hydrating Toner
I’m not super knowledgeable in toners tbh, but this is one I use over and over and really like it. Definitely helps hydrate my skin, and doesn’t irritate me at all.

Tarte – FRXXXTION Stick Exfoliating Cleanser
I received this item as a sample in a Sephora Play box, and loved it so much that I purchased the full size. Affordable for a higher end product, and really gentle but effective.

Body Care

Kopari – Coconut Melt Mini
This is just pure coconut oil, and I’ve used the kind you can buy from the grocery before, but this performs much differently on my skin. Absorbs fairly quickly, and I don’t feel sticky or oily at all. Smells SO good.

Laura Mercier – Almond Coconut Milk Scrub
This is definitely a splurge item, even at 20% off, but one of my favorite scrubs. Super moisturizing, smells SO good, and looks really pretty sitting in your shower too!

First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration
I love this as a hand lotion, body lotion, and even a face lotion when I’m particularly dry. Really gentle, and SO moisturizing. I’ve used and loved this stuff for years.

First Aid Beauty – Cleansing Body Polish with Active Charcoal
I’ve used this for years, and have repurchased it many times. Gentle and effective. The scrubbies are really fine so it doesn’t such a good job of buffing away all your dead skin. Loveeee it.

Clinique – Deep Comfort Body Butter
All time fave body butter. No fragrance, which I usually prefer so it doesn’t clash with any perfume I might want to wear. Absorbs pretty quick, and is so so hydrating.

Fresh Beauty – Brown Sugar Body Polish
Another great scrub. Comes in a couple different sizes. This one is sugar mixed with hydrating oils, so it does leave you a bit oily after your shower, but that absorbs pretty quick. Smells amazing!

Bumble and Bumble – Hairdresser’s invisible oil
My favorite hair oil. Smells amazing, and a little goes a long way. Smooths, softens, and tames my hair. Small size available to try out if you’re not sure!

Tangle Teaser – The Original Detangling Hairbrush
If you have hair that tangles easy, this brush will seriously make a difference. It’s not 100% perfectly detangled, but I feel a big difference when I use this versus when I use a regular brush. Much less pulling.

Klorane – Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
I’ve used this dry shampoo on and off for a few years, and really like it. It does leave a bit of a white cast, but it comes out easily with some brushing or working the dry shampoo into your scalp.

Great time to pick up that fragrance you’ve had your eye on! My current faves are this one and this one.

Beauty Blender – The Original Beauty Blender
Great time to grab a new one if you’re already a fan. And if you haven’t tried it, but are a liquid foundation wearer, then I definitely recommended for application. Adds moisture, and always make your foundations or concealer look flawless. I also have the micro mini blender, which I like a lot for concealer, but isn’t necessarily needed if you have the original size beauty blender.

Beauty Blender – Blendercleanser Solid
This is my favorite beauty blender and makeup brush cleanser I have used. It’s a solid soap in a little case, and comes with a silicone grid to really deep clean and get all the makeup off whatever you’re using. Has lasted me a while so far, although I definitely don’t wash things as often as I should! But, between the few cleansers I have, this is definitely the most effective.

Sephora Favorites – Cologne Sampler
I bought this last year for my boyfriend and he is still working his way through it lol. Big sampler of a lot of different colognes, a nice travel toiletries bag, and a voucher for one full sized cologne of his choice.
