Braided baskets are easily one of my favorite pieces of home decor. Because of how chic they look, or the texture they can add to a space? Well, yes. That’s a nice added bonus. But really I love them because they are a cute way to store miscellaneous things! Anyone else?!
While I generally try to avoid those catch-all corners in my home, there are some things that just need to go in a cute basket, and you can call it a day. I am all about that functional decor!
Blanket stash? Basket. Mail you need to sort through? Small basket. Extra TP stash? Basket (an extra large one if you’re taking abut covid times). Guest bathroom towels? Basket! What can’t be stored in them?!
Now your home looks pretty and put together, all thanks to a cute little basket where you hide the things that don’t have a place 😂 Great way to trick guests into thinking you have your life a lot more put together than you actually do. Or trick yourself!
Of course, even if you don’t have miscellaneous things to stash and you’re more organized and less hoard-y than I am (I’m working on it, I swear!!), baskets are a great way to add texture and decor, with the added bonus of storage!
All of these are on the neutral side as well, so they can easily fit into any decor or color scheme you might have!
Major bonus is that all of these are affordable! The priciest one is the large size of number 2 coming in at $45. The rest are in the $20ish-$30ish range. Not too bad! Some a little under that as well.

Which is your favorite?! While I generally gravitate towards lighter colors, I’m really feeling number 1! Loving the contrast of the darker brown with the black. I feel like having 1, 3, and 7 throughout a space would look really great!
Can’t wait till we have a permanent place to decorate and we can spruce up the space with all the baskets! 😂
