Hey! I’m super excited and nervous to be posting my first every style-y kinda post on the blog. I definitely don’t consider myself a style or fashion blogger (def not stylish enough lol), but I love finding good deals and tryina dressing cute, and honestly I thought this would be fun, so I’m trying it out 🙂 Real talk – it’s absolutely out of my comfort zone, but trying not to let that kinda stuff prevent me from posting what I want to!

Anyways, I recently went to Target to scope out the latest, and there were SO many cute finds! I’m really loving the new Universal Threads and A New Day line they have now, I have a few outfit posts with those lines coming up! This top is from their Knox Rose line, which I LOVE. The line definitely reminds me of Free People, mixed with some serious romantic vibes. So many cute pieces. Although whenever I wear something from that line, Scott always tells me I look like a witch. Whatever, I’m alright with witch vibes.

This top immediately stuck out to me while I was browsing. I love a good olive green top, and the eyelet detailing is so pretty. I love that it’s at the top and the bottom! The flowy sleeves are gorgeous too. I just wore a white camisole tucked into my jeans underneath. It’s lightweight and a great transitioning into spring top! I got a small in this, and usually I’m a small or medium in tops. I’d recommend sizing down because it’s pretty flowy already, and getting your regular size might be too baggy.

One thing I will say is that this top wrinkles easy. I steamed this IMMEDIATELY before we took pictures, and there’s a line across the front (insert 10 eye roll emojis) but whatever I’m pretending it’s not there lol. There’s a chance I just missed that when I steamed it somehow. Oh well!

My jeans are a new fave of mine. They are the from the Sculpt line at Gap. They really suck you in, let me tell you! But, they’re still very comfy and stretchy. I’ve only had them for a month or so, so I can’t really speak to how well they hold up over time, but so far I’m impressed! Gap has sales ALL the time, so definitely wait till you can get a deal!

My taupe shoes and bag were an easy choice for me, I feel like they go with olive green so nicely! Unfortunately, both are purchases from last year. The shoes are from Target and the purse is Rebecca Minkoff Unlined Feed Bag that I purchased at Nordstrom. Rebecca Minkoff still has bags in a similar style, but not exactly the same. It’s a great bag, so I definitely recommend checking it out! I linked them, and similar booties above!

Also, just a quick shout out to a new nail polish I’m trying that’s cruelty free, vegan, and 7-free. Picked it up at Target, and I’m realllllly liking it so far! I’m wearing the shade Lust in Love here.

I hope you enjoyed my first outfit post! I’d love to hear any feedback you have so they can be as helpful for you as possible!

  1. Thank you for this post! So many cute ideas. I bought a pair of olive jeans in the Fall, but didn’t really have much to wear with them other than black. I’ve also been on the hunt for tops with longer short sleeves and I just found the striped one in your links, ordered it, and now I’m all set to wear my olive jeans!
