Target has been totally crushing it in the beauty department lately, SO many great cruelty free finds! They’ve been bringing on a bunch of new brands that I already use and love, plus introducing me to ones I hadn’t heard of but can’t wait to try. Although they have plenty of non-cruelty free products, they still have a wide range of CF to choose from!
I’ve rounded up my absolute favorites and most repurchased that you need to try next time you’re browsing the aisles of Target – best part of going, am I right?! Some of these I’m sure you’ve seen me talk about before, but if I’m bringing them up again and again, it’s only because they’re THAT good!
1. Palmer’s Swivel Stick Lip Moisturizer
Hands down my favorite chap stick of ALL time. So moisturizing and hydrating. Doesn’t do that thing some chapsticks do where it feels like it’s hydrating your lips at first, but then you keep needing to apply over and over. This stuff really sinks into your skin and deeply conditions your lips – a holy grail product of mine all year round.
2. Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist
Another holy grail of mine that I go through way too quickly. I have so many empty bottles of this stuff. It’s what I use immediately after I wash my face, while it’s still a little damp, to lock in hydration. I deal with dry skin, and this product has really made a difference. I use this to refresh throughout the day, to set my makeup, in the summer I keep it in the fridge for some extra coolness, and when applying foundation or concealer I’ll spray some of this onto my brush or beauty blender. It’s a great product!
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer Physicians Formula is no longer cruelty free unfortunately.
4. ella+mila Nail Polish
When I first made the switch to cruelty free, I wasn’t really sure what to use for nail polish. I picked some shades up from this brand on a whim, and ended up being really impressed! Great selection of colors, and I love that their formulated without harsh chemicals. I will say that you definitely need a top coat with these though, otherwise they tend to chip after a few days – same as any of my other non-cruelty free polishes.
5. Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash
This is a recent empty of mine that I really liked. I personally needed something that had some acne medication in it, so I had to switch to something else, but this face wash is still a great product. Really gentle, but still did a great job of cleaning my face and removing my makeup.
6. Native Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant
If you’re looking for a great aluminum free deodorant, this is a great place to start. This was a favorite of mine for a while. Smells amazing, lasted all day, and I feel like it worked even better for me than regular deodorant ever did. Unfortunately, I did start to get some rashes due to the baking soda in the formula. I switched to their sensitive formula, but didn’t work the same. I’m no longer using it, but if you don’t have that sensitivity, I highly highly recommend. I’d use it in a heartbeat if I could! Plenty of people don’t, so may be worth a try!
7. YUNI Travel Shower Sheet Body Wipe
I’ve loved these for a while and am so happy to see them now being carried at Target! I always have one in my bag with me at all times. You never know when you’ll need a little touch up in the underarm department, and these do a great job of making you feel clean again. Great for gym bags as well. Very cooling, and leaves behind a clean, refreshing scent. Love these! I linked a single wipe packet, but if you’re interested in a 12 count box, here is the link for that!
8. Simple Micellar Cleansing Water
I always have this on hand for removing any makeup my cleanser left behind, and makeup touchups. It’s one of the few products I can use to touch up or remove eye makeup that doesn’t sting or irritate my eyes in anyway. I’ve loved most products I’ve tried by this brand!
9. JR Watkins Apothecary Lemon Shea Butter Lotion
If you’ve been following me for a little while, you know my OBSESSION with this stuff. You will never smell a more delicious lotion in your life, I swear it! It’s one of my all time favorite hand creams, and a little goes a long way, so it definitely will last you. It’s very thick, and can take a few minutes to absorb, but is so worth the wait. I love this lotion all year round, but especially in the winter when my skin is craving some hydration. I’ve also recently discovered that it’s perfect as a foot cream too!
10. Sun Bum 3 In 1 Leave In Hair Conditioning Treatment
Love this hair treatment! Leaves your hair so silky and soft, and does a great job detangling too. I like to use this whenever my hair is feeling particular dry and brittle to give a little life back to it. Also love using it during the summer after a day on the beach, to add back in some hydration. Smells strongly like bananas, so if you’re not into that, this might not be for you, but it doesn’t last very long.
11. Real Techniques Brushes
If you’re looking for some high quality affordable brushes, Real Techniques is where it’s at. I have two that I use on a regular basis, the blush brush and the setting brush, and a few others I really like as well. I’ve heard amazing things about their blending sponge, which I definitely plan to pick up soon.
12. Australian Gold Mineral Sunscreen
I first picked up this sunscreen last summer when I was searching for a cruelty free one to use, and was so impressed by this. Only sunscreen I’ve ever used that doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy and gross afterwards! Love that. Definitely will be picking more up this coming summer!
I think I’ll add more to the list as I discover other amazing cruelty free beauty products available at Target. I love that they’re expanding the brands they carry and that I’m seeing more and more cruelty free products on the shelves! If you’re looking to online shop the CF beauty section of Target, the Natural Beauty section is a great place to start. Although not all are cruelty free, plenty of them are, and everything is labeled well on the website so you can easily weed out what you don’t want.
