The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is HERE. Have you picked over the preview yet?! I’ve combed through it a handful of times now,
To be perfectly honest, I feel like there are much less items this year, but I’m not totally sure. There are a few things that have been apart of numerous past year’s Anniversary Sales and not this one. Not surprising though, I’m guessing Covid likely impacted the final decisions of what would be apart of the sale!
That being said, there definitely are still some really really great deals and things to pick up. I’ve got my eye on quite a bit, so I will definitely have to narrow that list down!
And friendly reminder that there is no pressure to buy anything or feel like you need to spend all the money on things! 🙂

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Clothing Picks
Sweaters + Cardigans
Starting off with my favorite category of the sale! I always grab a sweater/cardigan or 5 during the sale that I wear on repeat alllllll fall and winter long. I initial had this split up into separate categories, but trying to narrow it down to just the *best* of the best. Definitely will be grabbing a few of these!
Can you tell what colors I’m gravitating towards?!
1. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Leopard Cardigan – comes in 3 colors. Highly suspect this will sell out quickly!
2. Treasure & Bond Longline Cardigan – comes in 4 colors. Loving the buttons on this one!
3. Madewell Kent Cardigan Sweater – comes in 5 colors + striped version. Madewell cardigans are always a good buy, high quality and will last you for years!
4. Chelsea28 Cowl Neck Sweater – comes in 4 colors. Last year sold out/restocked multiple times, I was never able to get my hands on it. Definitely purchasing, and if you’re interested you might want to scoop it up quickly! Reviews suggest going down a size.
5. BDG Urban Outfitters Shaker Stitch Cardigan – again, I’m a sucker for a good sweater with buttons!
6. Leith Cozy Long Cardigan – comes in 8 colors. A top seller and popular item each and every Nsale!
7. BP. Open Stitch Cardigan – comes in 5 colors (I can’t decide between the orange or a more neutral color!!)
8. Caslon Turtleneck Sweater – comes in 10 colors. Very similar to the Chelsea28 one, and cheaper!
9. BDG Urban Outfitters Shaker Stitch Crop Sweater – comes in 2 colors. Loving the oversized fit, I think this would look so cute tucked into some high waisted jeans!
10. Treasure & Bond Crewneck Pullover – comes in 4 colors. Great staple sweater for your wardrobe!
Activewear
1. Zella Live In Leggings – comes in 3 colors. My faaaaaave! Best leggings ever!
2. Zella Restore Soft Longline Bra – love the length on this one!
3. Zella Studio Lite Longline Sports Bra – comes in 2 prints. This print is so stunning!
4. Zella Amazing Crewneck Sweatshirt – comes in 3 colors. Great laying around sweatshirt, great for wearing to workout classes…whenever those can happen again.
5. Zella West Coast Zebra Print Asymmetrical Zip Hoodie – I’m a fan of how neutral this print is.
6. Zella Mamasana Live In Maternity Ankle Leggings – haven’t tried these but def will down the line, they have great reviews!
Coats + Jackets
1. Barbour Shaw Waterproof Raincoat – comes in 3 colors. Adore this jacket!! Barbour makes HIGH quality jackets which means they come at a price. Nsale is a great time to pick one up!
2. The North Face Cragmont Fleece Jacket – comes in 2 colors. I don’t even know why but I’m so obsessed with this jacket, I think it’s adorable! Plus, you can never go wrong with North Face.
3. Barbour Pilton Quilted Jacket – comes in 2 colors. Another high quality item by Barbour to grab at a discount!
4. Thread & Supply Cardi Coat – comes in 2 colors. I really think this will be a popular item this year, so I’d suggest grabbing it quickly if you’re interested!
5. Madewell Balboa Wash The Oversize Jean Jacket – perfect oversized denim jacket!
6. The North Face Miss Metro II Water Repellent Hooded Parka – comes in 3 colors. Another high quality jacket that would be great to grab at a discount before winter rolls around!
7. J. Crew Leopard Bomber Sweater Jacket
8. BLANKNYC Vital Signs Suede Moto Jacket – comes in 2 colors. They come out with a similar item each NSale. I think I like this years the best because both colors are neutral and would go with any outfit!
Tops
PS – each one of these is under $50! Most in the $25-$35 range.
1. Caslon Pintuck Lace Detail Long Sleeve Cotton Blouse – comes in 6 colors. SO so stunning and affordable!! Perfect fall blouse!
2. Thread & Supply Houston Shirt – comes in 2 colors. Solid basic flannel top at a great price point!
3. Thread & Supply Dream Georgette Button-Up Shirt – such a beautiful color. Thread & Supply has a bunch of different plaid button up tops for this years sale!
4. Free People Leo Henley Tee – comes in 4 colors. Size down one. I’m thinking this will be a popular item of this years sale!
5. Rachel Parcell Bishop Sleeve Scalloped Lace Top – comes in 3 colors. Really drawn to this top. So stunning! And loving the bishop sleeves (seems to be a big trend!)
6. Halogen V-Neck Camisole – comes in 8 colors + prints. There’s always a top selling cami of each years sale, I’m guessing this will be it! PS this cami was a hot seller in previous years and is available + on sale right now!
7. Madewell Mock Neck Bubble-Sleeve Top – comes in 3 colors. Really drawn to this color. Loving the sleeves too!
8. Gibson Cozy V-Neck Tunic – comes in 5 solid colors + leopard. Y’all knew I couldn’t resist this neutral leopard tunic right?! Love the length, would be perfect with leggings!
Dresses + Skirts
1. BP. Print Long Sleeve Dress – comes in 3 prints. Adorable + affordable fall staple dress, would look great with boots + booties!
2. Rachel Parcell Smocked Ruffle Dress – comes in pink + leopard. Beautiful and feminine dress!
3. Chelsea28 Tiered Midi Dress – comes in a black floral print too. I feel like this dress is the perfect versatile fall + winter dress and could be worn a bunch of different ways!
4. BB Dakota Belted Short Sleeve Crinkle Woven Dress – perfect shade of yellow for fall, but definitely could be worn spring + summer as well.
5. BLANKNYC Suede Miniskirt – comes in 2 colors. I’m not sure I could pull off this skirt tbh, but it’s SO dang cute!!
6. Socialite Print Tiered Miniskirt – comes in 2 prints. White leopard?! Yes please sign me UP. Ps that price point thoooo!
7. Madewell Tie Sleeve Button Front Dress in Mini Daisy – those tie sleeves are too cute!!
Jeans + Leggings
1. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings – comes in 3 colors. Can’t stop won’t stop sharing my deeeeeeep love and obsession for these leggings. Grab them, trust me. Not see through, hiiiiigh quality (I’ve had mine for *years* and they show no signs of wear!)
2. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – a super popular item during this sale and pretty much anywhere else their sold. I’ve yet to try them myself, but *might* this year. Hiiiiiighly rated!! However if that’s out of your price range, these are a more affordable option apart of the sale also with high ratings!
3. Halogen High Waist Ponte Leggings – comes in 2 colors. Great pair of everyday leggings that don’t have a hint of an athletic look to them!
4. Articles of Society Sarah Distressed Skinny Jeans – love the not too over the top distressing on these!
5. Levi’s 721 High Waist Skinny Jeans – if I were to only grab 1 pair of jeans from the sale it would definitely be these.
6. Good American Good Legs High Waist Raw Hem Skinny Jeans – comes in 2 colors. The raw hem would look so cute with booties!
Pajamas + Loungewear
1. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Leopard Cardigan – comes in 3 colors. Yep, another repeat but had to share here because I know this will be a top seller and go QUICK. Especially in this color. I originally thought I wouldn’t grab since I have this in another color….but now…..I may have to grab it!! Trust me, it’s gooooood.
2. Giraffe at Home Chenille Robe – comes in 3 colors. Tell me this doesn’t look like the most comfortable robe?!
3. Barefoot Dreams 2-Pack CozyChic Socks – comes in 2 sets. Absolutely will be grabbing these during the sale! Probably both sets.
4. Ugg Kantner Pajama Pants – these look so incredibly plush and cozy for lounging around!
5. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Short Pajamas – comes in 4 colors.
6. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Pajamas – comes in 5 colors/prints. These are a top seller each and every NSale, along with the short version above, and this sleepshirt version!
PS – Target has verrrry similar pjs that are a more affordable option! One of the reviews even say they are better than the Nordstrom ones!!

1. True & Co True Body Triangle Convertible Strap Bralette – comes in 5 colors.
2. Free People Intimately FP Ilektra Lace Bralette – comes in 5 colors. Super similar to the other very popular FP bralette!
3. Honeydew Intimates Keagan Seamless Crop Camilette – comes in 9 colors. That price point!! Perfect cami/bralette for lounging around and staying comfortable.
4. True & Co True Body V-Neck Bralette – comes in 5 colors.

Booties
Bootie selection is on point! So many great classic pairs that would go with basically any fall outfit!
Not really going to add descriptions/thoughts here because basically all I have to say about all of them is that they are each the perfect fall bootie!!
1. Ugg Elisa Genuine Shearling Bootie – comes in 3 colors. Will absolutely be grabbing these! Love that you get the warmth and comfort Uggs provide, but in a more stylish bootie!
2. Timberland Jayne Waterproof Bootie – comes in 3 colors.
3. Vince Camuto Gradina Block Heel Bootie – comes in 5 colors/prints. Expect to see this bootie shared a lot!
4. Blondo Camila Waterproof Bootie – loooooving these edgy vibes.
5. Marc Fisher Oshay Pointed Toe Bootie – comes in 5 colors. Will be a top seller for sure. This bootie is nearly identical (+ waterproof!) though if the Marc Fisher’s sell out!
6. Blondo Helen Waterproof Hiker Boot – comes in 2 colors. Loving the quilted pattern on these!
7. Lucky Brand Lilka Suede Bootie – comes in 5 colors.
8. Șfft Corlea Lace-Up Bootie Рcomes in 3 colors.
Shoes
Not a toooon caught my eye, but a few winners! Some great, classic pairs that always be in style!
1. Sam Edelman Evelan Chain Loafer Mule – comes in 3 colors/prints. Much more affordable option compared to the Gucci version these seem to be inspired by!
2. Adidas Swift Run Sneaker – comes in 3 colors/prints (but we all know that leopard one will be a popular item!)
3. Treasure & Bond Kallie Mule – comes in 4 colors/prints. Into the more structured look of these mules!
4. Caslon Aidy Water Resistant Wedge Sneaker – comes in 3 colors/prints. Perfect dressier sneaker.
5. Steve Madden Feather Loafer – comes in 3 colors/prints. Great price point! Great classic flat, would be great for work too (whenever you’re back in an office…)

Handbags
1. Clare V. Midi Suede Crossbody Bag – FULLY obsessed with this bag. The shape, the print, the thick canvas strap. YES please. She pricey, but stunning! Also comes in an olive green + orange strap version.
2. Madewell The Transport Stripe Embroidered Zip Top Crossbody Tote – Madewell seriously makes the best everyday bags, and this one is a little something different with the stripes. Thinking this would be a great everyday bag in the fall with those colors! Also comes in a larger tote and pouch.
3. Allsaints Captain Round Leather Crossbody Bag – is this not the most stunning shade of brown?! Great size and the thick strap looks cute and also provides more support!
4. Tory Burch Carson Stripe Leather Crossbody Bag – I’m predicting this one being a top seller this year! Love how it’s a simple neutral everyday mini bag, but still a little different with the stripe! Same style comes in a wallet as well.
5. Tory Burch Carson Convertible Leather Crossbody Bag – comes in 2 colors. I think this will also be a popular item of the same! Great everyday bag that will go with pretty much any outfit!
Accessories + Jewelry
The scarf selection is seriously lacking this year!! Normally Madewell and BP. has a top selling scarf, but not this year. I’m a fan of the hat selection though!
1. Nordstrom Satin Trim Wool Felt Tulip Crown Hat – comes in 2 colors. This muted pink is absolutely stunning! A top seller for sure.
2. Madewell Disc Chain Necklace – comes in gold as well. Simple + affordable chocker necklace, great for layering!
3. Quay Australia It’s My Way 55mm Cat Eye Sunglasses – looks *just* as good of a pair as the muuuuuch more expensive sunnies apart of the sale!
4. Rachel Parcell Velvet Trim Felted Wool Panama Hat – comes in two colors (the other being a gorgeous burgundy!)
5. Quay Australia Noosa 55mm Cat Eye Sunglasses – loving the cooler tone to this pair.
6. Brixton ‘Wesley’ Wool Fedora – another stunning hat perfect for fall!
7. Gorjana Power Stone Stretch Bracelet – comes in 22 colors! Great bracelet for stacking, and you definitely can easily find a color combo to fit in with the pieces you already own.
8. Gorjana Cayne Crescent Plated Pendant Necklace – comes in gold, too. Another beautiful piece by Gorjana that would look stunning layered up, or all on its own!
PS – Gorjana has a bunch of pieces in this years sale, like this necklace I wear daily. They are my favorite delicate and affordable jewelry brand!

1. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Secrets Set – there’s always a Charlotte Tilbury lip set that is a popular seller! I personally feel like the shade Pillow Talk is stunning on all skin tones. A stunning universal nude! I would be grabbing this if I didn’t grab the CT lip sets from like the past 3 years (I’m well stocked!)
2. Olaplex Bond Maintenance System Set – I unfortunately have fallen in love with Olaplex products which is a shame because hellllooo expensive. Can’t go back now that I’ve tried it, it’s ruined me! Will def be grabbing this value set to save a bit!
3. Lancer Jumbo The Method Polish Exfoliator – one of my favorite cruelty free facial scrubs. Gentle + effective!! A little goes a loooooong way so this will last you a really long time.
4. Too Faced Hangover Prime, Set, Refresh Set – perfect primer and setting spray if you have dry skin!
5. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color Trio – comes in 3 stunning shades. These are super easy to work with!
6. Trish McEvoy Brighten & Define Essential Eye Duo – if you like tubing mascaras, you should try this one! I’ve heard really great things about the eye primer as well, so I will be picking up this set.
7. Makeup Eraser 10-Day Cloth Set – reusable + cute! Great way to replace your makeup wipes with a much more eco friendly option. Love that it comes in a laundry bag too!
8. Moroccanoil Home & Away Hair Care Set – another expensive hair product that has ruined me because I can’t go back to not using it. The BEST smelling hair oil EVER. Will leave your hair so incredibly soft!

1. Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw Blanket – comes in 5 colors. A top seller year after year after year! I have and adore this blanket. Hiiiiiighly highly recommend. I believe the Camel-Stone and Midnight-White are new this year, but I’m partial to the Stone-Cream. It tends to sell out, so if you’re interested, I would grab it quickly! If leopard isn’t your thing, there are a bunch of other great Barefoot Dreams blankets apart of the sale!
2. Pom Pom at Home Oulu Throw Blanket – comes in 3 colors. These pom poms are just too cute!!
3. The White Company Fine Silver Plated Picture Frame – first thought was that this would be perfect for wedding photos!!
4. Serene House Twilight Wall Aromatherapy Diffuser – if diffusing is your thing, this would be super cute to have in your home for your oils!
