Axiology was kind enough to send me these lipsticks for my consideration and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I recently made the switch to cruelty free beauty, and in my search for brands that fit this requirement, I came across Axiology. They’re a lipstick and lip crayon brand, focusing on vegan and all-natural beauty products. They are a seriously awesome company that you need to know about, if you don’t already! They donate proceeds to some seriously awesome charities. Their packaging is sourced from a women owned recycled paper boutique in Bali. Just one of those companies you can feel really good about supporting, you know what I mean?
Anyways, they make absolutely gorgeous lipsticks and lip crayons that are 100% vegan and cruelty free! Also, all of their ingredients are natural and nourishing, so you can feel good about what you’re putting on your skin.
They recently launched 2 new lipstick shades and 1 new lip crayon shade for spring and I am SO excited to show you the swatches of these beautiful colors!
A hibiscus pink with blue undertones and a matte finish.
Such a fun shade for spring. Very comfortable formula, and feels super hydrating.
A glittering cool pink with lavender undertones and a satin finish.
Same great formula as above. This one is definitely my favorite. Such a great every day shade that enhances your natural lips. Will absolutely be wearing this all spring and summer!
This is a grapefruit with a highlight of watermelon.
A much bolder shade for sure. The lip crayons are matte and much more long lasting. A great shade for a date night, or just when you’re in the mood for a bolder lip.
Review: I absolutely LOVE the packaging for the lipsticks. They lock into the container, which is awesome. You never have to worry if the cap will fall off in your back and get lipstick all over the place! The lip crayon lid clicks into place as well. Both the lipstick and lip crayon feel very luxurious. All 3 were very comfortable to wear, and lasted a good amount of time for me. The lipsticks, because they’re such a hydrating formula, did require some touch ups and reapplication. That doesn’t really bother me though. Definitely will be picking up some more shades. I will say that they are an expensive brand at either $30 for the lipstick or $26 for the lip crayon, which is interesting because I feel like the lip crayon will last me way longer than the lipstick due to having to reapply. That may be a turn off for some, but I personally think they’re worth the money, and would repurchase.
