So, there’s a little sale happening right now, not sure if you’ve heard of it…..JK I’m sure your feed is currently bombarded with #NSALE posts, but the sale is just THAT good!

In case you don’t know all the deets, Nordstrom basically releases all of their fall merchandise in July and it’s all marked down. Once the Anniversary sale is over, all these pieces will still be available, but at full price. They could go on sale later on, but no way to know. So, you’re shopping totally new items at a discount!

A few tips:
– Don’t feel like you need to go all out and buy everything. Only buy what you actually need or are in the market for!
– If you’ve been eyeing some more expensive pieces, now is the chance to buy when they’re on sale! But if you are, I’d recommend only going for timeless pieces and not trendier ones that might not always be in style.
– My biggest recommendation is to stock up on basics! There are some great ones at an awesome price.

This is a sale I personally shop every year, even way before I was a blogger. I know it can be a bit overwhelming with all the items and that every blogger is showing so many cute pieces! My plan is to show you everything I tried on, things in the sale I already own and love, and the items I ordered online. I’ll show you all those items once they come in. Going to be totally honest and let you know what I actually purchased and what I’m returning. I hope this is helpful!

My number one recommendation is the Zella leggings. I own 3 pairs and love them SO much. I wear them literally all year round, so I know they are high quality and long lasting. Very comfortable, and not at all see through. They work as exercise leggings or everyday leggings. Cannot recommend these enough!!

Sizing – I am usually a medium in tops.

IN-STORE TRY ON

Didn’t love the fit of any of these on me, so they were a no go.

BP. Oversized Waffle Stich Cardigan – currently out of stock.
I expected to love this cardigan, but wasn’t as into it as I thought. This is a medium and I just felt like it was too loose and unflattering on me, maybe a small would have worked better. Wasn’t super soft and I also felt like it would shed on everything.
Topshop Long Open Front Cardigan – $49.00
Everyone was posting this cardigan so I mostly just wanted to try it on to see what the hype was about. I did like the length of it, but I just didn’t see it being something I’d wear very often. Plus it wasn’t very soft at all. I tried on a size 4 I think? Topshop has weird sizing.
Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater – $45.90
If you’re in the market for a cardigan, this is definitely a great one to have in your closet for colder months. Comes in lots of colors and is very soft. I personally decided not to purchase this, but am going back and forth about it.
BP Balloon Sleeve Sweater – $31.90
An unexpected win! I picked this up to try on just out of curiosity but absolutely adore it. They didn’t have my size so I tried a large and I liked the fit. I purchased this in store, and ordered the rose color (in a medium) online! Super cute!
BP Mock Neck Colorblock Sweater – $31.90
This just happened to be in my fitting room from the person before so I threw it on lol. It’s cute, but not exactly my style. The medium fit well!
BP Textured Stitch V-Neck Pullover – $25.90
Fit well (medium) and is very comfortable and soft, comes in SO many colors. This is Grey Bark. Great staple for your closet! I personally didn’t love the v-neck so I didn’t purchase.
BLANKNYC No Limit Suede Moto Jacket – $125.90
This is a beautiful jacket, the color is absolutely gorgeous and so perfect for fall. It’s pricey!! I order this online and am not 100% sure if I will keep it or not but I wanted to snag before it sold out. I got a medium and it fits perfectly.
BP Plaid Shirt – $31.90
I purchased this and ordered 2 more colors later. I live in these in fall and wanted to stock up. This is a small and still fits a bit oversized so you may want to size down one.
Zella Luxury Bomber Jacket – $78.90
It’s super cute but I feel like I can never get the sizing down for a bomber jacket and they always look weirdly big on me. I thought I picked up a small, but realized in the dressing room it was an XS! I still feels like it looks weird. It’s super cute, and the color is stunning, but not for me.
TrouvĂ© Side Slit Sweater – $45.90
This was my favorite of all the sweaters I tried on. TTS, soft, longer (so you can wear with leggings) and I liked the slit. Comes in a lot of colors!
Hinge Mix Print Peasant Dress – $52.90
Love this dress! Screams fall to me. Would look super cute with some booties or OTK boots. They didn’t have my size so I didn’t purchase, this is the small and I definitely needed a medium. I haven’t ordered yet, but plan to.

There are some more in store items, but I didn’t purchase them and how many things do I need to show you that I didn’t like lol. I’m happy to share them if you want me to, just let me know!

  • One last shout out to the Zella leggings. I know I’ve said it a million times already but they are THAT good.
  • Also, the Halogen Seamless Day Bra is $11.90 right now and the most comfortable bra you’ll ever wear! Love these.
  • Anything by Barefoot Dreams is worth picking up. Softest piece of clothing you will ever put on. I’m sad they don’t have their robes on sale this year, but I own THIS cardigan and love it. I’ve got my eye on THIS poncho right now. They make great gifts too.
  • Tory Burch Marsden Wallet is the wallet I currently use and love.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Set is something I picked up (different colors) last year and still get so much use out of. She has some seriously high quality lipsticks, and that lip liner is a beautiful shade!
  • UGG Dakota Bow Slippers are a great comfy pair to wear around the house! Would be an awesome gift as well.
  • Sara Happ – The Lip Expert Coconut Set love her lip stuff!
  • Free People January Tee is a great basic to have. Comes in so many colors, super soft and very flattering! True to size.

Okay so that was a LOT of stuff! Sorry about that! Hopefully you get a good idea of what’s worth picking up and what’s not. I’ll let you know when my order comes in so I can show you all of that stuff as well! Happy shopping! I truly appreciate you shopping through my links, so thank you SO much for supporting me!! Comment below with what you picked up!
