You may have seen a few weeks ago on Instagram that I recently went to Chicago with the brand NOW Solutions. Some of you may know them as NOW Foods since they carry a wide range of health food products.
They also have a huge collection of high quality, natural, and affordable beauty products. The two days in Chicago were all about their beauty line. From how much testing goes into their products, to getting to know the brand and the people behind the company, plus a whole bunch of fun in between, it was a busy two days!
Day One
Started by flying into Chicago and heading to the NOW Operations Facility. All the influencers got to eat, learn more about NOW, and meet various members of the company, including the CEO and Family Owner! I thought that was so cool that they were so involved with the events.
Next, was a tour of their plant where all of the products are made and thoroughly tested. From start to finish these products are essentially put through the wringer to ensure this highest possible quality and safety standards. It was honestly so impressive to see just how much goes into each and every product. Sneak peek info the facilities below!
After the tour was a quick stop at the hotel, where we were greeted by SO many NOW Solutions goodies. OMG. I’ve been diving them since I got home and let me tell ya, there are some real gems in here! Scroll down for a peek into what we were gifted.
Then we were off to dinner at Girl & The Goat, which was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. And for this foodie, that’s saying something! I didn’t even take pictures really because I was so excited to try everything on the menu! Highlight – green beans. Never knew they could taste THAT good. The pan fried shishito peppers also were deeeelish.
After a seriously amazing meal, we went to sleep since we had an early-ish wakeup call the next morning and even more activities!
Day Two
Morning started with a quick breakfast at the hotel. I ran downstairs to Stumptown Coffee for an iced oat milk latte because #obviously. Then off to the Cowshed Spa in Soho House Chicago.
Such an adorable spa! My farmhouse lovin’ heart was so happy. We each rotated through a few different activities – massage or facial, beauty DIYs, and a mani or pedi.
I went for the facial, which featured a few NOW Solutions products. One product she used on me was their Charcoal Detox Mask. I was a little nervous about how my sensitive skin would react, masks can sometimes irritate my skin or dry me out, but I actually really liked this mask!
First of all, zero irritation. And second, I swear my pores looked cleaner/smaller. I was shocked I could notice a difference after one use. Not expecting that at all!
After the facial, it was time for some DIY beauty! We made a skin renewal mask, calming sugar body scrub, and a bath & body oil, all using NOW Solutions products. They have such a wide range!

After all the DIY-ing, we had our mani or pedi, depending on which you chose. So much fun, and at the cutest spa!
Then we had a spa nutrition lunch and learn with DJ Blatner, RDN. We dove into just how much food can play into your beauty routine and the importance of eating healthy, balanced diet. You can use all the beauty products in the world, but you need to take care of yourself from the inside as well!
Once lunch was over it was time for goodbyes and heading to the airport.
It was a jam packed two days and I honestly had SUCH an amazing time. Just felt so thankful I was invited and got to be apart of this trip, especially because of how amazing the company is. You could tell from anyone you talked to who worked there just how much thought and care goes into every single product in their line, and how much everyone enjoyed their job! I think that speaks volumes in itself. They felt like one big family that only wants to put out the best of the best, and I absolutely adore that about them!
The Goodies
Not gonna lie, I was PUMPED about the swag bag. SO many goodies to try!! Going to give a little overview of what they gifted us, in case y’all want a sneak peek!
I’ve only just started diving into them, but I can already tell the eye cream is going to be a favorite! Really hydrating if you deal with dry skin like I do.

Final Thoughts
All in all, it was an informational and FUN two days that I am so honored I got to be apart of. Definitely planning on incorporating more NOW Solutions products into my beauty routine, so you can expect to see some more of those popping up here on Ivy Rose Knows!
